RITA K. H. DORWARD – PRESIDENT

Rita Hamilton Dorward, president and owner, has nearly 30 years in the environmental arena with an extensive background in regulatory compliance with Federal and state regulations for all 50 states and U.S. Territories (Guam, Puerto Rico, and Virgin Islands).  Ms. Dorward is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) and an RABQSA-certified ISO 14001 Lead Environmental Auditor and has conducted a variety of multi-media regulatory compliance assessments covering all aspects of environmental regulations.  She was the Program Manager for a large national compliance program that had an average annual budget of $1.0M.  She has managed day-to-day compliance for large and small industry, and has conducted training for industry and government personnel.  She is also well-versed in OSHA hazard communications, including the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals, and general hazardous materials compliance.   Ms. Dorward holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Resources (Geology) with a Minor in Watershed Sciences from Colorado State University.

ALAN C. DORWARD – VICE PRESIDENT

Alan Dorward (USAF Colonel, retired) is the vice president and managing partner.  Mr. Dorward has a varied background in environmental management and programming.  He was the Base Civil Engineer in the State of California directing the environmental, safety, and occupational health program for the environmental functions and staff of ground/weapons safety, occupational health and facilities management supporting over 1,750 personnel located on six separate military bases and two combat training facilities.  Mr. Dorward earned his State of California certification in air emissions management and his Professional Certification in Environmental Management from the University of California at Davis.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Construction Engineering and Management from California State University – Fresno.
